2D measurement endoscopes and 3D measurement endoscopes are two types of devices used for internal inspection and measurement. Here is an introduction to their uses, differences, advantages and disadvantages:
 

Uses:

2D measurement endoscopes are usually used for relatively simple internal inspection and measurement tasks, such as inspecting pipes, manufacturing defects and flaws, etc. 3D measurement endoscopes, on the other hand, can provide more precision and detailed information for internal inspection and measurement tasks, such as inspecting precision machinery parts, performing dimensional measurement and shape analysis, etc.
 

Differences:

2D measurement endoscopes only provide 2D images and measurement results, while 3D measurement endoscopes can provide 3D images and measurement results. Therefore, 3D measurement endoscopes offer more information and higher measurement accuracy compared to 2D measurement endoscopes.
 

Advantages and disadvantages:

The advantage of 2D measurement endoscopes is that they are relatively low in price, easy to use, and can handle simpler internal inspection and measurement tasks. However, the disadvantage is that they have relatively lower accuracy, can only provide 2D images and measurement results, and cannot perform more complex measurements and analysis. On the other hand, the advantage of 3D measurement endoscopes is that they can provide more detailed and precise measurement results, and can handle more complex internal inspection and measurement tasks. However, the disadvantage is that they are relatively high in price, and more complex to use and operate.
