Product Certification & Warranty
Which borescopes have Explosion-proof certified?
Our CT series, with certificate of conformaity of Electrical Apparatus for Explosive Atmospheres.
Approved by National Quality Supervision and Inspection Center for low voltage explosion-proof electrical apparatus (Liaoning, China)
Does the product have a warranty?
Yes, for product defect (non-human damages), we provide one-year warranty.
Battery, Durability & Probe Tube Maintenance
How long can the borescope operate continuously?
Most models can operate for up to 4 hours of continuous use, and certain models support battery replacement.
If only the probe tube is damaged, can it be replaced individually?
Yes, the detection tube of most models is replaceable.
Is the detection tube waterproof, acid and alkali resistant?
Waterproof, no acid and alkali resistance test report.
What should be noted when using the probe tube?
Do not bend, straighten, or shake the detection tube with force, and the curled circle diameter should be at least 30cm when packed.
How to clean and maintain the lens and probe?
WAfter use, wipe and air-dry the surface. Use the cleaning kit to clean the lens.
What is the difference between tungsten and stainless-steel probe materials?
Tungsten and stainless steel are both commonly used materials, each with its own durability characteristics. Understanding their properties helps users match the right material to their inspection needs.
Model Selection Guide
How to choose between CT and CK sereis?
Both CT and CK Series are popular options.
What kind of borescope should I choose?
We recommend suitable industrial borescopes based on your specific inspection requirements.
Application Issues & Troubleshooting
Can the borescope inspect drain pipes with bends?
Based on our testing, the borescope can pass two 90-degree bends.
Will the borescope probe get stuck in pipes containing gravel or cement?
Pipes containing gravel or cement should be brushed clean before inserting the probe to reduce obstruction risks.
Will the lens get stuck when debris is present inside the pipe?
Obstructions such as stones or cement should be cleared with a brush prior to inspection.
Measurement & Technical Capabilities
Does the borescope have a measurement function?
Generally, borescopes do not have a measurement function. Some multifunctional borescopes provide simple measurement. For example, the CT Series will display a scale on the screen. If you need accurate measurement, you can use the CF Series for measurement. Can provide more accurate 3D measurement function.
Advanced FAQs
What is the difference between a borescope and a videoscope?
